"Road to the Nationals" Award - Wednesday, January 25, 2006
We are excited to announce a new award. The Road to the Nationals award will be presented to all schools invited to the National Tournament at Valparaiso University who compete in the 2006 Tournament of Champions. The award will reimburse the Nationals Tournament application fee.
We are very proud of all our Lutheran Schools in the state of Wisconsin and are pleased to assist with costs of attending this prestigious event. Schools are still required to submit an application and fee to the LBAA. The Road to the Finals award will be presented in the form of a check to the school to reimburse that fee. Application fees paid be schools not invited to the National Event will be returned as stated in the LBAA guidelines. 
 
Brewers Sponsor Sportsmanship Award - Tuesday, January 24, 2006
The Milwaukee Brewers will present 100 tickets each to the boys and girls teams that are presented with the 2006 Sportsmanship Award. The tickets will be for the May 13 Lutheran Schools Night game vs. the New York Mets.
Details will be available to coaches & ADs prior to the Tournament of Champions Weekend

Official Hotel of the Tournament of Champions - Monday, February 13, 2006
The LSA of Wisconsin has put together a discount lodging package with the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Brown Deer. The Four Points Sheraton has reserved a block of rooms for teams and spectators in need of lodging for the 2006 Tournament of Champions.

Photographs - Monday, February 13, 2006
Paramount Images, the official photographer of the LSA will provide team and action photos of the schools participating in this years Tournament of Champions.
Each team will receive a participants award that includes a team photo.
Additional photos will become available in our online store immediately following the State Weekend
More information will be available on our website in the upcoming weeks.
 
Apparel Available Soon - Monday, February 13, 2006
Official 2006 Tournament of Champions and State Cheerleading Championship apparel will be available in our on-line store beginning February 8th. Each player will receive a t-shirt for participating in the State Tournament. Additional apparel such as hooded sweatshirts and long-sleeve tees will be available for purchase. There will be discount options available for pre-orders. More information including the 2006 design will be available after February 1st.

State Cheerleading Championship - Monday, February 13, 2006
Applications are still being accepted for the State Cheerleading Championship to be held on the Tournament of Champions weekend at Concordia University Wisconsin. This event is open to any Lutheran Grade School in the state of Wisconsin. The $75.00 application fee not only includes the competition, but also a half-hour workshop with the Concordia University Dance team. The LSA Wisconsin Discussion Forum was officially launched February 5. This area will allow individuals to ask questions specifically to our tournaments or the LSA Wisconsin in general. We do ask that you use your real name and that any comments posted are constructive and in good taste. We will monitor this area carefully. The Discussion Forums are a great area for you to get questions answered regarding tournaments and events hosted by the Lutheran Sports Association of Wisconsin.
